The 4th Annual Gingerbread Houses For Hope Is Underway, Just In Time For Ladies Day

Oh my goodness, what a week it has been at St. John and Myers. We had a late start getting the word out for the 4th Annual Gingerbread Houses For Hope this year. We were so worried we weren't going to get any houses, that we made Louis go on YouTube and tell the world to send them in!

Little did we know that we would get a record breaking 21 houses this year. 21! That breaks our record last year of 15, and people keep bringing them in. We're even running out of spots to put them. Not only has the submission response been great, but the quality of houses this year has been amazing. We have a candy palace, a Diet Coke and Mentos explosion, a bird house, a PEZ igloo, a couple of log cabins made of pretzels, and even a Candy Land recreation. We've posted everything on our Facebook page, so feel free to peruse, like, and share:

Now comes the important part. The part where we raise the money to help benefit Central Kentucky Riding For Hope. We need you to come in and vote on your favorite house. Each vote costs $1, and multiple voting is completely allowed. We are also accepting bids on houses in a silent auction that runs until December 4th. These houses are absolutely magnificent so now is the time to make your bids so you can display them in your homes or businesses come Christmas. Believe me, the buzz is big this year. The PEZ candy company even re-tweeted us:

So guess what the perfect time to come in to visit is? Ladies Day! This Saturday, from 11am-5pm, we are inviting all ladies to come in the store to make a list of what they want from their special someones this year. We will have gift bags, giveaways, and refreshments. We will also give you a $50 gift card to spend that day in the store. All you have to do is RSVP to the event embedded below, like us on Facebook, and share the event on your wall.

Be on the lookout! Louis is sure to make another video on Friday for Ladies Day. Or better yet, subscribe to his YouTube channel to see it first.
